Featured Parent Event: Visions of Sound: Jazz and African Instruments from the Hartenberger World Music Collection A collection of historical and modern instruments that trace the history of jazz from its roots in Africa to the present day. Opening Reception: Friday, June 12, 5 – 7 p.m.Exhibit has been Extended through Aug 29, 2009 Sheldon Art Galleries, located in the Emerson Galleries building GALLERY HOURS Tuesdays, 12 noon – 8 p.m. Wednesdays - Fridays, 12 noon – 5 p.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and one hour prior to Sheldon performances and during intermission. |
