The Jewel Box is at the intersection of Wells and McKinley drives in Forest Park.

The Jewel Box is open: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday

Admission is $1 but it is free from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday and Tuesday.

Shaw Nature Reserve is open year round from 7 am until sunset. Visitor Center hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays and 9 to 5 on weekends. The Bascom House is open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday through Sunday. The Nature Reserve is open to hikers every day, but the Visitor Center and Bascom House are closed on some major holidays

The World Bird Sanctuary is open 363 days each year 8am-5pm.
The Visitor Information Center is open 11am-3pm every day

WBS will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and will close at noon on Christmas Eve. Please call first on days during inclement weather when Sanctuary roads may be unsafe and the site may be temporarily closed
