Eckert’s Restaurant is a special treat not only for the kids but for me.  The only time we eat at Eckert’s is when we are picking some kind of fruit.   This time we were out at the orchard picking strawberries. 

After a fun morning of picking berries we were ready for lunch and we were happy to find there was not a wait.  What is nice about Eckert’s is that there is a little corner with toys for the kids to play with if there is a wait or the kids can take one of the smaller toys to their table to keep them busy. Eckert’s has a nice children’s menu with lots to choose from including fresh chucky applesauce.
